According to Daily Post Newspaper, Kenneth Eze, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Information and a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) member, responded to the nation’s anticipation of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal’s verdict in Abuja.
Kenneth Eze stated, “Contrary to expectations that fuel subsidy removal would harm the economy, it has actually stimulated economic growth. Moreover, the Port-Harcourt refinery is set to resume operations in two weeks, mitigating the effects of the subsidy removal.”
He further added, “The APC is thriving, and the current administration’s victory in the election won’t be overturned. Despite claims that Atiku or Obi would assume power, I urge you to remain steadfast and unafraid; we have divine support.”
It’s important to note that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Lagos State Governor and National Leader of the APC, emerged as the successful contender in the nation’s top political position, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission. He prevailed over rivals like Peter Obi from the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar from the Peoples Democratic Party, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso from the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP.
Currently, Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidates for the Labour Party and the Peoples Democratic Party, respectively, are challenging Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory at the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja. With all petition hearings concluded, Nigerians eagerly await the Court’s verdict.
