House of Reps Adjourns Plenary for Salah, Easter Breaks, Resumes April 29

The House of Representatives has adjourned plenary sessions to allow members observe the forthcoming Salah and Easter celebrations.

The announcement was made during Thursday’s plenary, with lawmakers agreeing to take a break for the twin festivities.

The break, which begins immediately, will see the House reconvene on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

Before adjourning, the lawmakers deliberated on key legislative issues, including ongoing debates on budget implementation and national security matters.
