The Ondo States Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate in the 2020 gubernatorial election and Member, representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Dele Gboluga Ikengboju has condoled with the PDP, and the good people of Irele town, over the demise of late Alaile Adeoye, the Chairman of Ward 4 of the party in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Starnews Nigeria reports that Mr Alaile Adeoye was present at a meeting Gboluga held with PDP Ward Chairmen Irele Local Government on Sunday, May 16, 2021.
According to the report, he participated actively without any premonition of his death at that moment.
In a statement he signed, Gboluga was shocked at the sudden demise of Adeboye, who he described as a loyal, consistent, active, charismatic, and compassionate leader.
“Adeoye was a personal friend to me. We shared a common vision and we began this political journey together and till his untimely death, he never wavered. He saw the beginning of our success but unfortunately, he died in his prime. I never knew he would leave us this early.
“This is a personal loss to me, our party and Irele LGA. I owe his family, friends and political associates a lot. He would be sorely missed as his demise would create a great vacuum that would be difficult to fill.
“I am consoled that his spirit will remain with us as we continue to implement our shared agenda on good governance. I pray that Adeoye’s soul finds solace in the Lord Almighty”, Gboluga said in the statement”.
