Herdsmen: Stop Spreading False Stories, Buhari Begs Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to Nigerians to stop spreading false stories and inflammatory statements in the recent clash between farmers and Fulani herdsmen in Northern Nigeria.

The President also said that the clashes between herders and farmers are historical with the causes of confrontations between herdsmen and farmers varied and complex.

Mr Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media, dropped this hint on his tweeter page some minutes ago.

Garba said President Buhari is appealing to all its citizens as well as members of the international community to refrain from spreading false stories and inflammatory statements concerning the recent herder-farmer clashes.
