Governor Seyi Makinde has expressed confidence that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is the best choice for the people of Ondo State in the upcoming gubernatorial election.
This statement came during the flag-off of the PDP campaign for its candidate, Hon. Agboola Ajayi, and his running mate, Hon. Festus Akingbaso, held in Akure.
Makinde emphasized the importance of good governance and urged the people of Ondo to support the PDP in their quest for better leadership.
He called for intensified campaign efforts leading up to the election scheduled for November 16.
He said:
“Yesterday, we were in Akure for the flag off of the governorship campaign of the PDP candidate in Ondo State, Hon Agboola Ajayi and his running mate, Hon Festus Akingbaso. As I said to the good people of Ondo State, our great party, the PDP, offers the best option for them to get good governance. I urged them to intensify the campaigns to ensure victory.”
