Group Declares Support For PDP Guber Aspirant Ahead of Ondo 2020 Election

While they were declaring their support for the governorship ambition of Otunba Bamidele Akingboye, one of the governorship Aspirants of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, a non political group, Ondo Leadership Forum (OLF), has commended Akingboye for his exceptional groundbreaking services to the people of the state and Nigeria at large.
In a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Wale Ogidan, the group described the business man as a standard of exemplary leadership, who believes in helping the poor and the needy in the society.
The statement partly reads: “Otunba Akingboye has been practically tested on many grounds of political participation, which further proves the leadership quality he is widely known to have been possessed.
“We have confidence in his leadership skills, his ability to transform the state into an industrial hub, with special attention to job creation for teeming population of the state and revamping all sectors of government for growth and development.
“On this note, the group having scrutinized available options, has decided to align interest with the PDP in Ondo State and most  importantly, to work for the emergence of Otunba Akingboye as the flagbearer  of the party ahead of year 2020,” the statement added.
OLF, however declared total support for the emergence of Akingboye as PDP gubernatorial candidate ahead of 2020 election.
They maintained that residents of Ondo State are politically conscious and would rather have a good manager steer the ship of the state.
