Governor Yahaya Swears in New Permanent Secretaries

Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Yahaya appointed five new Permanent Secretaries and declared a strong stance against corruption.

The new appointees include Prof. Muazu Shehu Usman from Gombe LGA, Mohammed Bello Abubakar from Akko LGA, Mohammed Yusuf Kulani from Balanga LGA, Ahmed Saidu Guli from Dukku LGA, and Alhassan Ibrahim from Yamaltu Deba LGA.

During the ceremony, Governor Yahaya told the new officials to ensure their work aligns with the state’s goals for good governance, focusing on integrity and public service.

He made it clear that his government would not tolerate corruption, waste, or inefficiency in the public sector.

The governor reminded the appointees that their roles are vital to ensuring smooth operations within the civil service, encouraging them to work with dedication, Daily Post reports.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to ongoing reforms aimed at strengthening governance in the state.

Finally, Yahaya congratulated the new officials, recognizing their hard work and achievements leading up to their appointments.
