Governor Soludo Offers N10 Million for Information on Killers in Anambra Attack

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has announced a N10 million reward for anyone who provides information that leads to the capture of the gunmen responsible for a deadly attack in Ihiala.

On Monday, the assailants killed seven people, including five security officers and two civilians, during a funeral gathering, Sahara Reporters reports.

The gunmen opened fire at the ceremony, killing several individuals, and later targeted security personnel near the local government headquarters as they fled.

The state’s police command confirmed the incident, with a manhunt now underway to apprehend the attackers.

Governor Soludo, speaking at the burial of Bridget Akanma Onuchukwu, urged local leaders to take action against criminal elements in the region.

He promised a significant reward for any tip-off leading to the capture of the perpetrators and warned of dire consequences for their families.
