Governor Fubara: God Will Overcome Rivers’ Adversaries in 2025

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has expressed strong confidence in God’s power to overcome adversaries and deliver victory for the state in 2025.

According to Vanguard my, speaking at a crossover church service held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Opobo Town, Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Governor Fubara led the congregation in a powerful praise song: “At the mention of Your name, every knee shall bow; every tongue confesses that You are Lord, You are King, the King of Kings.”

He explained that the song served both as a source of comfort and a call to strengthen faith in God, who he described as the ultimate source of victory. “The Red Biro is still filled. It’s still here with me. Every enemy plan will continue to crash,” Fubara declared, extending his New Year wishes to everyone.

Dr. Emmanuel Oko-Jaja, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Niger Delta, who officiated the service, reflected on the struggles of 2024, including conspiracy, blackmail, economic hardship, and health crises. Despite these challenges, he assured worshippers that their faith would not be shaken.

The bishop shared that God has granted a new song of victory to the faithful and assured them that in 2025, God would sustain and deliver them, enabling them to live victoriously. He prayed for peace, unity, and progress in Rivers State, aligning his prayers with the government’s 2025 Budget for Inclusive Growth and Development.

The service was filled with praise, worship, choir ministrations, and a joyful celebration as the congregation rang in the New Year with shouts of “Happy New Year!”
