Gov. Abdullahi Sule Dissolves Cabinet, Sacks SSG, Commissioners

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has dismissed the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Muhammad Ubandona-Aliyu, along with all the commissioners in his cabinet.

According to NAN, a statement signed by Mohammed Illiyasu-Idde, the Permanent Secretary for Cabinet Affairs and Special Duties, in the Office of the SSG, confirmed the development on Friday in Lafia.

The dissolution is effective from Friday, January 3, 2025. The statement outlined that all outgoing commissioners are required to hand over the affairs of their ministries and any government property in their possession to the respective Permanent Secretaries.

Additionally, the SSG is to transfer responsibilities to the Permanent Secretary for Cabinet Affairs and Special Services.

Governor Sule expressed his gratitude to the outgoing appointees for their contributions to the state and wished them success in their future endeavors.
