Former Minister Kennedy-Ohanenye Returns to Court Being Sacked By Tinubu

Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, the former Minister of Women Affairs, has made a court appearance following her dismissal from President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet.

Kennedy-Ohanenye, who also works as a lawyer and CEO of Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye & Co, was seen in court showing support for a four-year-old child allegedly victimized by a teacher.

She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and has a strong background in law, having earned her LL.B from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and an LL.M from the University of Abuja.

Kennedy-Ohanenye served as Minister of Women Affairs from August 2023 until her sacking in October 2024, alongside with five ministers over underperformance.
