EURO 2024

-England have won their last four games when conceding first at the Euros, with only France (5) winning more after conceding the opener.

-England have reached the quarter-finals in back-to-back Men’s European Championship tournaments for the very first time, but they needed two record-breaking goals to do it.
Jude Bellingham’s overhead-kick equaliser was England’s latest scored in normal time at the Euros (94:34), while Harry Kane’s goal to put England in front was the quickest extra-time goal in the competition’s history (50 seconds).

-England are now unbeaten in their last 11 games at the European Championships, their longest unbeaten streak in the competition.

-Most goals scored for England at the Men’s European Championships:

-Kobbie Mainoo (19y 72d) is the third-youngest player to start a knockout stage game for England at a major tournament (World Cup/EUROs), after Michael Owen v Argentina in 1998 (18y 198d) and Wayne Rooney v Portugal in 2004 (18y 244d).

LATEST TRANSFER RUMOURS

-Archie Gray to Tottenham. Talks progressing. Player keen on the move.

-Jose Mourinho wants Anderson Talisca in Fenerbahçe.

-Arsenal have been offered Jadon Sancho by Man Utd representatives this summer as they seek to offload the winger at £40M.

-Galatasaray rejected Real Sociedad’s offer of €13 million for Kerem Aktürkoğlu.

-PSG would offer €60M for Leny Yoro, while Real Madrid would not want to invest more than €40M. Lille would have initially asked for €70M for the player.

-Marcos Alonso will not continue with FC Barcelona.

-Lyon have exercised the purchase option for Saïd Benrahma for around €14.4 million. His new contract now runs until June 30 2027, with an option for an additional year.

-João Félix leaves FC Barcelona as his loan will not be extended.

-João Cancelo has returned to Manchester City after his loan spell at FC Barcelona ended.

-Dortmund now leading the race for Rayan Cherki and they are confident of completing the deal in the coming days, despite PSG’s strong interest.

-Chelsea have reached an agreement with Leicester to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for £30m. He is expected to undergo a medical today and sign a contract until 2030. Dewsbury-Hall is viewed as a perfect fit for Chelsea’s playing style.

-Juventus complete the signing of Douglas Luiz (26) from Aston Villa for €50M. Contract until 2029.

-Leicester want to sign Michael Golding from Chelsea following Chelsea’s deal to sign Dewsbury-Hall.

-Brighton who had been pursuing Dewsbury-Hall for the past two transfer windows expected to be increasingly frustrated as Chelsea’s transfer of Dewsbury-Hall advances. He recently underwent a medical at Brighton after the clubs agreed on a fee.

-Dewsbury-Hall’s sale and the £10m in compensation banked from Chelsea for Maresca and his six back room staff, will provide the club with a major boost in their attempts to avoid further breaches.

-Michael Golding is expected to be a separate deal from Dewsbury-Hall and is highly rated by Chelsea.

-Atletico Madrid have told Girona they are not willing to pay Artem Dovbyk’s release clause.

-Michael Olise move to Bayern is not in danger at this stage. Bayern want to finalize the deal as quickly as possible. Many clubs including Manchester United are trying to hijack the deal.

-Fenerbahçe Sporting Director Mario Branco started official negotiations with Sevilla for the transfer of Youssef En-Nesyri.

-Juventus are now ready to sell Federico Chiesa for a relatively LOW price.
