-Patrice Evra has been sentenced to prison for family abandonment in France. The former captain of the France team was found guilty by a criminal court and sentenced to 12 months in prison with suspended probation. He owes close to €1 million in unpaid alimony.
-Anwar El Ghazi won his lawsuit against Mainz, who fired him for a pro-Palestinian social media post. After contesting his contract termination and unpaid salary, El Ghazi will be reinstated to the team and compensated at least €1.5 million.
