FIRS Surpasses 2024 Revenue Goal, Reaches N21.6 Trillion

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) exceeded its 2024 revenue target by generating N21.6 trillion, surpassing the N19.4 trillion goal.

This achievement was announced by FIRS Chairman, Zacch Adedeji, during a strategic retreat in Abuja.

The event focused on planning for 2025, with Adedeji acknowledging the collective effort that led to this milestone.

Looking ahead, Adedeji highlighted FIRS’ goals for 2025, which include strengthening its workforce, upgrading facilities, and leveraging technology to improve tax administration.

He emphasized the importance of continued innovation and the modernization of processes to maintain long-term growth and efficiency.

The National Assembly has set a target of N25 trillion for the FIRS in the upcoming fiscal year.
