A fire broke out on Wednesday evening at the Radio Nigeria office situated on Plot 35, Ikoyi Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The cause of the blaze remains unknown as investigations are ongoing.

However, emergency teams, including personnel from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, responded promptly to contain the situation.

Margaret Adeseye, Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, disclosed that her team received an alert about the incident at approximately 5:30 PM.

Firefighters from the Dolphin, Ebute Elefun, and Oba Onitolo Fire Stations were swiftly deployed to tackle the flames, which had severely affected the building’s studio section.
