Fire Destroys Shops at Ajegunle Market in Lagos

A devastating fire broke out at the Alayabiagba Market on Boundary Road in Apapa, Ajegunle, Lagos on Tuesday, causing widespread damage.

The fire reportedly destroyed several shops, along with goods worth millions of Naira.

Witnesses in the area described the scene as chaotic, as the flames rapidly consumed the market stalls.

As of now, the cause of the fire has not been determined, but authorities are investigating.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) responded quickly to the scene, dispatching a team for search and rescue operations.

LASEMA has assured that efforts are underway to control the fire and minimize further damage.
