FIFA Ranking: Super Eagles Retains 42nd position in World

The Super Eagles of Nigeria is ending 2023 in 42nd position in the latest ranking released on Thursday by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), on its official website.

The ranking is the last for 2023 by FIFA.

The Super Eagles retained the same position it was in November.

Jose Peseiro’s side also maintained sixth position in Africa, trailing behind Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia Algeria and Egypt, who are the top five teams in Africa.

The Super Eagles will be hoping to improve their position on the ranking with a good performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire next month.
