Fans, celebs excited as ‘somebody’s son’ finds Tiwa?

Earlier in the week, popular singer, Tiwa Savage, set the rumour mills agog when she posted a picture of her and a man on a beach in Rio Janerio, Brazil. She could be seen planting a kiss on the cheek of the mystery man, whose back laced with tattoos, faced the camera.

Expectedly, her post attracted a lot of comments as both celebs and fans made remarks.

Entertainers such as Rita Dominic, Mercy Aigbe, Daniella Okeke, Munachi Abii, Uti Nwachukwu, Destiny Etiko, Iyabo Ojo, Chioma Akpotha and others posted emojis. A social media comedian, Craze Clown, also wrote, “Slide three is going to make a lot of people see life differently.”

Apparently, many were excited for the singer, as they interpreted the picture to mean that she had found love again.

Recall that since her messy split from her estranged husband and former manager, Tunji Balogun, aka Tee Billz, Tiwa has had a turbulent love life.

However, a comment by her friend, Papa Omisore, insinuated that it was a stunt. He commented on the post, “Please return your rental in slide three. Thank you!”

The singer responded, “You already know, it was just for content o. Baba no even send me (the man didn’t even have my time).”

In 2021, a video of her having sex with an unidentified man surfaced online. The singer stated that the video was ‘mistakenly’ uploaded to Snapchat by the man she was having intercourse with. She added that though the video was immediately deleted, someone had downloaded it and tried to blackmail her with it. She insisted that she refused to give in to the antics of the blackmailer.

Though some people felt that the sextape saga could have a negative impact on her career, the singer refused to let it weigh her down. While performing, she often referenced the incident on stage. In her song titled, ‘Loaded’, which featured Asake, she sang, “Sex tape o le ba aye mi je (sex tape cannot ruin my life).”

Savage has also been linked to quite a number of personalities in the entertainment industry. Some years ago, it was widely believe that she was having an affair with pop star, Wizkid. On different occasions, the duo displayed affection in public, with Wizkid even grabbing her butt at some events. In a music video for Wizkid’s music video, ‘Fever’, the pair were cosy as they lay on a bed and caressed each other.

She was also rumored to have been in a relationship with singer, Davido’s late personal assistant and road manager, Habeeb Uthman, Obama DMW. After his demise, she posted a lengthy and emotional tribute to him. It read in part, “Brave heart, strong heart, soft heart, kind heart, pure heart, peacemaker, hot stepper, incoming politician. I had never met anyone as brave/strong as you, who was also as soft and kind as you. You were ready to take a bullet for your loved ones.

“This is not the end. That thing that you and I always talked about, I promise to do it and you will be proud. I love you; we love you. Till we meet again, king.”

Other entertainers she had been romantically linked with include Dr Sid, Don Jazzy, 2Baba, Humblesmith and Patoranking.
