Ex Ondo Lawmaker, Afolabi Iwalewa congratulates Aiyedatiwa

A former member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing (Irele Constituency), Hon. (Chief) Afolabi Iwalewa, has described the victory of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the Saturday gubernatorial primary election of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) as a well deserved one, saying his victory is a clear indication that the governor is well accepted across boards.

In his congratulatory message forwarded to Starnews NG on Tuesday, April 23, 2924, Iwalewa, expressed conviction that governor Aiyedatiwa would not disappoint the party leaders and members who reposed their trust in him.

The APC stalwart also appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his fatherly role in ensuring that APC produce the most acceptable candidate ahead Ondo State Governorship Election.

Likewise, he appreciated the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo for supporting Gov. Aiyedatiwa to triumph in the primary election, saluting his uncommon leadership qualities.

He also thanked the people of Irele Local Government under the leadership of Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan for giving unalloyed support to Gov. Aiyedatiwa which culminated into his victory.

Iwalewa, further extended his appreciation to the leadership of the APC both at the national and state levels, for ensuring a level play ground for the party’s aspirants.

While soliciting support for governor Aiyedatiwa in the forthcoming Ondo governorship election, the former lawmaker, implored other aspirants to accept the outcome of the primary election in good faith and throw their weight behind him, (Aiyedatiwa) in order for the APC to wax stronger in preparation for the November 16 governorship election in the state.
