-Kobbie Mainoo is in line to be handed his first major tournament start for the Three Lions against Slovakia on Sunday.

-Former Georgia Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili is set to give over $10M to the Georgian national team for qualifying for the Euro 2024 Round of 16.

The Georgian oligarch announced that if Georgia beats Spain, the amount will be doubled. His fortune is estimated at $4.9B, nearly a quarter of his country’s GDP.

-Phil Foden is set to return to England’s training camp tonight after attending the birth of his third baby.

-Cristiano Ronaldo has failed to score in the group stage of a major international tournament for the first time in his career, having previously scored in all of the ten group stages he’d played at.

Cristiano Ronaldo has had 12 shots so far at UEFA EURO 2024, the most by any player and has not scored once.

-Marc Cucurella has won 17/22 individual duels at EURO 2024, with that 77% success rate being the highest of any defender in the group stage (min. 20 duels).

-No Italy player has created more chances, made more interceptions or won more aerial duels at Euro 2024 than Riccardo Calafiori.

-Didier Deschamps has accused Olivier Giroud (37) of lacking commitment to the French national team. L’Équipe reports that Deschamps privately criticized Giroud, saying he doesn’t believe Giroud can lead the team. Giroud was reportedly upset about not starting against the Netherlands but has vowed to prioritize the team over personal grievances.
This criticism has motivated Giroud to train harder to meet Deschamps’ expectations.

-Anthony Gordon fell off his mountain bike while partaking in down time activities in the England camp, but is not an injury doubt for England.

LATEST TRANSFER RUMOURS

-Ipswich Town open talks with Chelsea to sign Hutchinson on permanent deal! Negotiations now ongoing between Ipswich Town and Chelsea for Omari Hutchinson to return to former club.

-Atalanta are closing in on deal to sign Ben Godfrey from Everton, it can be sealed by the end of the week.
New proposal in excess of €10m package and talks advancing to get it done. Personal terms agreed, Godfrey’s keen on move to Serie A.

-Man United will add Ruud van Nistelrooy and René Hake from Go Ahead Eagles to their new backroom staff. Erik ten Hag will sign new contract in the next days, all agreed and 100% done as revealed earlier this week.

-Feyenoord are set to sign all documents for Julián Carranza deal, joining from Philadelphia Union.

-Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto is negotiating with other clubs ahead of the expiration of his contract at the end of the month.

-Juventus want to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi and that could help the German side sign Jadon Sancho permanently.

-Marseille are exploring a deal to sign Mason Greenwood from Man United. Talks are in early stages and finances haven’t been discussed yet. Positive dialogue with Greenwood, who favours Marseille over other options.

-Chelsea have a definite interest in Nottingham Forest defender Murillo and are making inquiries via intermediaries about 21-year-old. The blues regard him as a young player who fits club’s profile.

-Manchester City are not working on a deal for signing Dani Olmo.

-Chelsea at the moment are not keen on the deal to sign Victor Osimhen because of the cost of the deal.

-Arsenal have established contacts with FC Barcelona in relation to Jules Koundé.

-Wolves are advancing in talks to sign Jørgen Strand Larsen and are confident to get it done very soon.

-Manchester United are ready to SELL Marcus Rashford.

-Chelsea hope to boost their chances of signing Murillo by including Trevoh Chalobah as part of a bid for the Nottingham Forest defender.

-West Ham in talks to sign Real Betis left back Juan Miranada who will soon be a free agent.

-Man Utd held positive talks with Joshua Zirkzee’s representatives; cautious optimism that a deal can be done.

-Enzo Le Fée has reached an agreement with AS Roma. Roma & Rennes have been negotiating for several days and a new offer is being prepared.

-Man Utd are looing to strengthen CB – Branthwaite’s valuation a stumbing block. Leny Yoro and Marc Guehi other options.

-Casemiro attracting interest from Europe and Saudi Arabia in Casemiro.

-Aston Villa boss Unai Emery has a long-term admiration for Tottenham’s Giovani Lo Celso, having managed him at Villarreal.

-Manchester United plan to add Go Ahead Eagles manager René Hake to Erik ten Hag’s coaching staff for next season. Hake and Ruud van Nistelrooy are both expected to be new additions.

-Marseille are exploring the possibility of signing Leeds United goalkeeper Meslier.

-Chelsea have shown interest in signing Kieran Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City. No formal offer yet but the 25-year-old midfielder is keen to join Chelsea if he leaves Leicester. He is seen as a perfect fit for coach Enzo Maresca’s style of play.

-Atalanta are now expected to sign Everton’s Ben Godfrey and will reach an agreement soon.

-AS Monaco interested in signing Georges Mikautadze (23) from Metz. RC Lens are also interested.

-Atalanta has a serious interest in Zaniolo, but as of now, no offer has come that satisfies Galatasaray.

-Morata does not see Turkey as an option for now. There are three offers from Italy and haven’t received any offers from Turkey yet.

-Ipswich Town have opened negotiations with Chelsea to sign Omari Hutchinson on a permanent deal.
