These were in words of BBO – Banji Ben Okunomo, the leading governorship aspirant of the PDP in Ondo State while appealing to all the PDP delegates in Ondo State ahead of July 22, 2020, primary election of the Party.
Starnews NG reports that the PDP primary has been scheduled to hold on July 22, this year, while the governorship election is fixed for October 10, 2020, with about nine aspirants of the PDP jostling to pick the ticket of the party ahead of the poll.
“Majority of the delegates are in my generation. They are mostly youths like me. Our women can also see that I am very sensitive about gender equality to end all the discrimination against them.”
“The delegates should not be distracted with peanuts. I urge them to support me so that we can work together to rescue Ondo State from the ruling APC and create the enabling environment for national resourczhine State on a new pedestal of hope and development,” Okunomo added.
