Senator Nicholas Tofowomo (SNT), has urged Muslims across the 18 Local Governments of Ondo State to pray for the State and Nigeria at large as they celebrate Eid-El Maulud across the world.
While wishing the Muslim faithful a happy Eid-El Maulud celebration in a statement signed by Akinrinlola Olumide, his Media Aide, the Senator on Monday in Akure, congratulated all Muslim faithfuls in Ondo State.
Senator Tofowomo, representing Ondo South at the 9th Assembly, also lamented the incessant rate of crimes in various parts of the country, thereby urging all Muslims to pray for abiding peace in Nigeria.
”I celebrate with all Muslim Faithful in Ondo State; I urge them to use the occasion of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad to pray for abiding peace in Nigeria. The high rate of crime in various parts of the country is alarming. It’s high time we sought the face of God especially today that Muslims celebrate Eid-El Maulud across the globe,” the statement added.
