Eid al-Fitr: Akingboye, PDP Governorship Aspirant Calls for Unity, Progress

In a heartfelt message on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, Otunba Bamidele Akingboye (OBA), one of the leading governorship aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had extended his warm greetings to Muslim faithful across the state and beyond.

Akingboye in a statement made available to newsmen and signed by his Strategic Communications Adviser, Oyeniyi Iwakun, emphasized the need to embrace the values of compassion, generosity, and solidarity that the festival embodies, urging all to work together to build a society that upholds justice, equality, and opportunity for all.

“As we emerge from this transformative experience, let us celebrate with a renewed sense of purpose and unity,” Akingboye stated in his Eid al-Fitr press statement.

“In these joyous moments, we must heed the call to strengthen the bonds that unite us as one family dedicated to serving the common good”, he added.

Starnews NG reports that his message resonated with the spirit of the occasion, calling on the people to imbibe the teachings of Ramadan and work tirelessly towards a better future for the state and nation.

“May the blessings of this auspicious occasion inspire us to work together for progress and development,” he said.
