Double Nomination: PEPC Dismisses APM Petition Against Tinubu/Shettima’s Ticket

The Presidential Election Petitions Court (PEPC), on Wednesday morning, dismissed the petition filed by the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) against the electoral victory of President Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.

APM had filed the petition against Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 election on the ground that Shettima was not validly nominated.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) also filed petitions against Tinubu’s victory on different grounds.

The presidential Tribunal Judges however announced a -15 Minute recess to continue delivery of judgment in other pending petitions.
