Delta Man kills son, nursing mother, injures others

A father, Samson, of Delta State’s Evwreni Community, who battered his son to death, killed a nursing mother, and injured others in mysterious circumstances, was arrested by an enraged mob, who beat him to death and burned his corpse in an act of jungle justice.

Samson, whose real name could not be determined at press time, committed the heinous act in the early hours of yesterday.

According to a source, Samson smashed his son to death at 2 a.m. yesterday and, in the process of sympathizing, killed a nursing mother named Princess and injured a guy who has yet to be recognized.

According to him, “He smashed his toddler son, then machete a woman who took her son out to toilet to death, and injured the youths in process of trying to apprehend him, he injured more persons.

“After the incident, he was finally apprehended, beaten to a stupor and his remains were set ablaze with his motorcycle.”

However, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Edafe Bright could not respond to his call at press time.

Recall that Ayomide Adeleye, a 23-year-old Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, student in Ogun State, had admitted and confessed to killing Christiana Idowu, his 18-year-old childhood friend and church member.

Adeleye, who is now being held by the Lagos State Police Command Tactical Unit, stated that he committed the crime due to financial troubles.
