Renowned Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, achieved a significant milestone on Tuesday night by becoming the first African artist to perform at the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards in England.
According to Daily Post Nigeria, Davido’s exceptional performance took place as an interlude during the awards ceremony held at the prestigious Lowry Theatre in Manchester. His appearance added a touch of musical flair before the announcement of the most prominent awards of the evening.
The ‘Unavailable’ singer expressed his excitement about the historic occasion through a post on his Twitter handle the following day. In his tweet, he extended his gratitude to the PFA for not only providing him with the opportunity to attend such a prestigious event but also to perform on its stage.
