Davido arrives New York to perform at UN General Assembly

Afrobeat star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has landed in New York to perform at one of the official events during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Davido revealed this will be the first time he will be attending the event.

The afrobeat star revealed this in a terse post via his X handle on Tuesday, September 24.

The post reads: “Touch down New York City for the #UN General Assembly… My first time attending should be interesting. Also performing tonight at one of the events! Catch me if u can!.”

Nigerian disc jockey and musician, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, had earlier been reported to have hosted an opening session at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
