Dangote Refinery Reduces Petrol Price for Marketers

By Our Correspondent

The Dangote Refinery has reduced the price of petrol for oil marketers to ₦970 per litre, down from the previous rate of ₦990 per litre.

This price change was announced by the refinery on Sunday, reflecting a ₦20 decrease in its ex-depot price.

The refinery noted that this price adjustment is a thank-you gesture to both Nigerians and the government for their critical roles in helping the refinery realize its mission.

This decision further reflects Dangote Refinery’s commitment to supporting national growth and enhancing local production capacities.

Alongside the price reduction, Dangote emphasized its focus on maintaining the highest quality of petroleum products, ensuring they meet environmental standards.

The refinery also assured that it will boost its production capacity to address domestic fuel needs, ultimately helping to reduce supply constraints and improve availability for consumers.

This move provides a significant cost benefit to marketers, facilitating better access to petrol across the nation.
