Nigerian socialite and celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest, has taken a swipe at Burna Boy after his loss at the 67th Grammy Awards.

According to Afripost, Burna Boy, along with Tems, Asake, and Wizkid, was nominated for Best African Music Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards. However, Tems emerged victorious in the category.

Reacting to the outcome, Cubana Chief Priest shared a post on his Instagram story, subtly mocking Burna Boy’s defeat. He implied that Tems’ victory might have been compromised if American music mogul Sean Diddy Combs were not behind bars.

He wrote, “If to say Diddy dey outside, dem for use Johnson baby oil rub away her Grammy.”

Burna Boy has previously been the subject of ridicule due to his connection with Diddy, who faced legal issues, including multiple charges by the FBI related to sexual exploitation.
