COVID-19: God has answered our prayers, Ondo PDP Guber Aspirant congratulates Gov Makinde

Leading Governorship Aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Banji Okunomo, on Tuesday, congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde over his recovery from the Coronavirus infection.

Starnews NG reports that Governor Makinde resumed work on Monday after testing negative twice for the coronavirus.

Recall that the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, recently broke the news that he tested positive for COVID-19. But after six days, the governor broke the news again that he has recovered and tested negative to the killer virus which has recorded over 74,820 deaths across the globe.

In a telephone interview with Starnews NG, Okunomo, the PDP governorship Aspirant said: ”I want to congratulate the governor and give thanks to Almighty God for his quick recovery on COVID 19. As part of his admirers who was deeply worried and engrossed in prayers for his quick recovery, I am happy he is fully back to work after testing negative for the Virus.”

”The reason I am thanking God is that it is good to be good. With his heart of kindness and generousity and good governance in Oyo State, many Nigerians across different parts of the world offered prayers for his quick recovery from the deadly Pandemic and God has answered our prayers immediately.

”It can only be God that Governor Makinde has recovered from this disease in less down one week. It was also observed that many Nigerians shouted Hosannah, Hosannah, after the news of his recovery was broken. This revealed the love Nigerians have for him.”

”I, therefore, personally, lend my voice in thanking God for answering our prayers and for the life of the governor and to advise every leader in this country to emulate him,” Okunomo said.
