Corps Members to Get N77,000 Monthly Allowance from February 2025

Corps members will start receiving a monthly allowance of N77,000 beginning February 2025, according to Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

This was announced on Thursday during a meeting with the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream 11 corps members in Katsina.

The new allowance, which will be implemented once the 2025 Federal Government budget is approved, replaces the previous N33,000.

General Ahmed noted that the increase was part of the Federal Government’s plans for 2025 and urged corps members to demonstrate their commitment to the nation during their service.

He also reassured corps members of their safety and well-being, confirming that they will not be posted to regions with security concerns.
