CAF Awards 2024: Super Falcons win Team of the Year

Super Falcons of Nigeria have been crowned the National Team of the Year at 2024 CAF Awards.

The team, currently the highest ranked team on the continent, beat the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco and Banyana Banyana of South Africa to the award.

Ibrahim Gusau, President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, picked up the award on behalf of the team.

Meanwhile, Falconets forward Chiamaka Okwuchukwu missed out on the Women’s Young Player of the Year award. It was won by Doha El Madani of Morocco.
