Former US president, Barack Obama is back with his annual Summer Playlist.
The former president, in a tweet on his official Twitter page, revealed his favorite songs for Summer.
The Summer playlist comprises 41 songs for the year 2023 and as always, Nigerian artists were included on the list.
Retaining their spot in his 2022 Music playlist, Burna Boy and Ayra Starr made it to his summer list.
Ayra Starr made it to the list with her 2023 hit song, “Stability”, while Burna Boy made it to the list with his song “Sitting On Top Of The World” remix featuring 21 Sãvage.
“Like I do every year, here are some songs I’ve been listening to this summer – a mix of old and new. Look forward to hearing what I’ve missed”.
Last year, Burna Boy and Tems made it to his Summer playlist.
On his Twitter page, he revealed that he gets excited to share his playlist with his millions of followers as he had learned about so many new artists from their replies.
He added that their replies are an example of how music can bring us all together.
