An explosion on Sunday rocked the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State capital.
It was gathered that the explosion occurred on the church premises killing many worshippers and several others were injured.
Starnews Nigeria gathered that the explosion was detonated by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen.
Eyewitness, Kehinde Ogunkorode told newsmen that the incident caused pandemonium in the area as residents, who were taken by surprise, ran for safety.
