BREAKING: Nurses and Midwives Join Nationwide Strike for Increased Minimum Wage

 

The National Association of Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has directed its members to join the nationwide strike launched by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC).

The NLC and TUC initiated the strike to advocate for an increased minimum wage for Nigerian workers, commencing on Monday, June 3.

Salisu Abubakar, the Public Relations Officer for NANNM at the Federal Medical Centre in Gusau, Zamfara State, affirmed the union’s directive, stating that members are urged to participate in solidarity with the national mandate.
