BREAKING: Get Me Bandit Leader Turji, Dead or Alive – Defense Minister Orders Troops

Minister of Defense, Badaru Abubakar has ordered the troops of Operation Fansar Yamma to apprehend notorious bandit leader, Turji, without delay.

Badaru gave the order during a visit to Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, where he addressed troops at the One Brigade Headquarters.

He was received by the Commander, Joint Taskforce Northwest Operation Fansar Yamma, Major General Oluyinka Soyele, and the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Malam Mani Mummuni

The minister also conveyed President Bola Tinubu’s expression of satisfaction with the progress made by the troops in combating banditry in the region over the past few months.

“President Bola Tinubu has recognised some level of improvement in the operation against terrorists in the region over the last few months,” he said.

“President Tinubu has asked me to thank you and to also encourage you to do more in ending insecurity in these operational areas.

“He is ready to supply everything you need to eliminate insecurity in the Northwest and across Nigeria.”

“Are you ready to finish them off?”

“Are you ready to end banditry in this country?”

“Please get me Turji, dead or alive,” he added.

Bello Turji Kachalla, popularly known as Turji, is a notorious bandit leader operating in the North-western part of the country.

He is known to be involved in various terror activities including kidnapping, arson, shooting, rape, cattle rustling, killing, and looting.
