Former All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Olugbenga Edema, has been selected as the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) gubernatorial candidate for the upcoming Ondo State Gubernatorial Election on November 16, 2024.
He emerged the party’s flagbearer after dumping the APC where he previously contested but lost to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the party’s ticket.
Starnews NG reports that the NNPP’s previous candidate, Israel Ayeni, withdrew from the race to support the party’s interests.
