BREAKING: Ajayi Triumphs Over Aiyedatiwa in Starnews Live Poll Prior to Ondo Governorship Election

Ondo State, Nigeria – In a real-time live voting poll conducted by Starnews NG on its website, Agboola Ajayi, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has emerged as the winner ahead of the highly anticipated governorship election scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 2024.

Starnews NG reports that the poll, which ran from November 9 to today, involved a total of 7,126 participants.

The results of the online poll show Agboola Ajayi securing 3,860 votes, while the incumbent governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC), garnered 3,266 votes. This gives Ajayi a margin of victory of 594 votes, signaling strong support for the opposition party in the lead-up to the election.

It is important to note that this online poll was conducted solely to gauge public opinion regarding the two major candidates, and does not serve as a definitive predictor for the actual election to be conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) this Saturday.

As the election date approaches, all eyes will be on Ondo State to see if the sentiments captured in this poll translate into real votes at the ballot box.

Stay tuned for more updates as the situation develops, Starnews NG reports.
