BREAKING – Agboola Àjàyí wins Ondo PDP Primary Elections

The former deputy governor in Ond state, Hon Agboola Ajayi has won the State’ s pdp primary Elections

He won with 246 Votes to clinch the party ticket.

Agboola who left the APC for the PDP in 2020, then emerged candidate of the ZLP thereafter, and later returned back to the PDP to run for Senate in 2023, is now the flag bearer of the opposition PDP in Ondo State ahead of the state governorship election slated to hold in November this year.

Agboola beat his closest rival, Hon. Kolade Akinjo who polled 157 votes.

Sola Ebiseni scored 99 votes; Adeolu Akinwunmi polled 64votes; Bamidele Akingboye 24 votes; Bosun Arebuwa scored 2 votes and John Ola Mafo polled 9 votes.

It is going to be a straight battle between two deputies governor who worked with the late Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as the incumbent Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the APC will now face his predecessor who was the then Akeredolu’s deputy.
