No fewer than 27 members of the Rivers State House of Assembly on Monday dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC)
Star News gathered that the 27 members who are Loyalists of former governor and Minister of FCT, Nyesome Wike defected from the PDP during plenary on Monday.
The Assembly is made up of 32 members with the remaining lawmakers loyal to the governor, Simi Funbara who has been having a running battle with Wike in the last few months .
