Benin beat Nigeria 2-1, leaves Super Eagles World Cup hopes hanging

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have lost to Benin Republic 2-1 in what is a blow to their hopes of reaching the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Vanguard reports that the Super Eagles are winless after four games and sit in fifth position in Group C with three points.
