Batch ‘B’ Stream II corps members begin orientation August 28

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has announced the schedule for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course.

According to a circular dated August 7, 2023, titled “2024 Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course,” the program will be held across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The circular, signed by Ahmed Ikaka, the Director of PRS on behalf of the Director General of the NYSC, outlines that the orientation course will begin on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

Registration for the course will take place from August 28 to August 30, with a registration deadline set for midnight on Friday, August 30, 2024.

A key highlight of the orientation course is the swearing-in ceremony, which officially marks the start of the service year for new corps members. This ceremony is scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2024.

The course will feature various activities designed to prepare the corps members for their service year, culminating in a closing ceremony on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
