Bandits Kidnap Nasiru Singa, Wife, Two Children

Armed bandits have reportedly abducted Hon. Nasiru Singa, his wife, and their two children while they were traveling from Katsina to Jibia.

According to Afripost, The incident was confirmed by security analyst Bakatsine, who shared the details on his Twitter page. According to him, the attack took place along the Katsina highway, a route notorious for bandit attacks.

“ALERT: Bandits kidnapped Hon. Nasiru Singa Wagini, his wife, and two children on their way to Jibia from Katsina,” Bakatsine posted.

Authorities have yet to issue an official statement, but security forces are said to be mobilizing efforts to rescue the victims. The incident highlights the rising insecurity in Katsina State, where cases of banditry and kidnappings have become frequent.

Concerned residents are urging the government to take immediate action to restore peace and protect lives.
