Comedian, Ayodeji Makun fondly called AY has apologised to singer David Adeleke widely known as Davido over a comment he made in Warri during a show on Saturday, October 7.
AY during the show, mocked Davido for his ability to impregnate women easily while he had to wait for 13 years to birth his second child.
He said: “13 years, 13 years, na him this small Davido, small pr*k, small pr*k, una know how Warri pr*k be now?
“Warri pr*k for 13 years belle no come. Na him I dey dey hear say Davido dey give belle, belle, belle, small pr*k. Let me tell you why the thing pain me, if you dey find pikin na that time you go know say to give woman belle na work. Davido just dey supply belle, belle, belle.”
Apologising to him via his Instagram account #aycomedian on Sunday, October 8, AY admitted the joke wasn’t funny adding that it did not come out as funny as it did when he said it in Canada and the US.
“I am so sorry for telling that joke the way it came out in Warri. I shouldn’t even call it a joke anymore. It wasn’t funny like it was during my tour of US and Canada, and you have every right to be angry after seeing how the blogs used it.”
“Please know that it is always a learning experience for all of us in the entertainment business. I deserve any backlash or negative thoughts coming my way for the joke that was badly delivered in Warri. So, no excuses at all, my Aburo. No reason am. I remain your number one fan, and I love you, #davido”
Responding to the apology, Davido wrote, “Nothing spoil baba mi ❤️”
