Atiku’s Aide Speaks on Expulsion of Wike From PDP
Daniel Bwala, a former spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council in the 2023 presidential elections, has stated that the People Democratic Party (PDP) will expel Wike at the appropriate time
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, had dared his party, PDP, to expel him.
Speaking on the possibility of getting expelled from the PDP for anti-party activities, Wike dared those contemplating the move saying, “Nobody can expel me.”
Wike stated this Wednesday evening when he featured on Channels Television’s programme, “Politics Today.”
The immediate-past governor of Rivers State stressed that he had yet to see any leader in the PDP who had the authority to expel him from the party.
However, Bwala while responding to Nyesom Wike’s recent attack on the PDP during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today, explained that Wike’s core objective as FCT minister is to intimidate the opposition.
Bwala who described Wike as a glorified commissioner said they hardly react to him because he loves drama, everybody knows that.
He added that the party knows what it is doing. Stressing that at the appropriate time, Wike would not only be suspended but expelled.
“His core objective in being in the FCT is to intimidate and overreach the opponents, you will see this in the coming days and to use the principles in the Machiavellian.
He said; “We are moving toward a one party system in Nigeria. Most of the problems we see in some African countries are because most of the leaders are trying to make the states practically one party states. “People massage his (Wike’s) ego to make him feel like he is the governor of the FCT.
“A minister of the FCT is a glorified commissioner constitutionally. That is why if FCT were to be a state, it would carry the characteristics, functionalities and capacity of a state.
“We hardly react to him because he loves drama, everybody knows that. The party knows what it is doing. At the appropriate time, he would not only be suspended but expelled. Take that to the bank,” he added.
