Akingboye sends Ramadan greetings to Muslims in Ondo

Ondo State 2024 PDP Governorship Aspirant, Otunba Bamidele Akingboye, popularly known as OBA, has extended warm greetings and felicitations to all Muslim faithful in Ondo State and across the nation as they observe the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement at the weekend, OBA described the Ramadan as a time of spiritual rejuvenation, self-discipline, compassion, and reaffirmation of the values of charity, empathy, and unity for Islamic faithful.

“As we immerse ourselves in this blessed month, let us reflect on the timeless teachings of Islam on peace, tolerance, and respect for all humanity, regardless of creed or background,” the statement reads.

“May the spirit of Ramadan inspire us to transcend our differences and work together towards a more harmonious and prosperous society,” Akingboye in the statement prayed.

Akingboye  urged Muslims to embrace the virtues of compassion, generosity, and selflessness embodied by Ramadan, while striving to uplift communities through acts of kindness, service, and solidarity.

“To our Muslim brothers and sisters, I wish you a blessed Ramadan filled with spiritual enlightenment, profound contemplation and the joy of community,

“May your fasts be accepted, your prayers answered, and your good deeds rewarded manifold,” he stated.

The governorship aspirant has in recent times met and engaged with leaders of faith, women, and youth groups and professionals to mobilize support for the PDP across the length and breadth of the State, saying that doing so broadens the spread of the party and her chances of beating the incumbent APC government in Ondo State.
