Akingboye Condoles With Ondo Govt Over Akeredolu’s Demise

The CEO of Benshore Maritime Ltd. & Clog Oil systems, Otunba Bamidele Akingboye, popularly known as OBA, has condoled with the government of Ondo State and the citizens over the shocking demise of His Excellency, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

Otunba Akingboye who is a brother to former Governor Akeredolu owing to his maternal affiliation to Owo Kingdom, said he received the news of the former Governor’s death with great shock.

“H.E Rotimi Akeredolu was a valiant fighter, truthful leader, consistent statesman and liberal democrat whose contribution to achieving the Southern presidency and South West Security Network codenamed AMOTEKUN remains evegreen.

“Aketi stood for his people when others were afraid to do so, not minding whose ox is gored”, Akingboye stated in a statement he personally signed on Thursday.

Starnews NG reports that the business mogul and philanthropist also sympathized with the Olowo of Owo Kingdom, the good people of Owo and the Akeredolu’s family for the monumental loss; while praying God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.

“In this moment of grief, our thoughts and prayers are with the Olowo of Owo Kingdom, the good people of Owo Kingdom, the Akeredolu’s family and the new Governor, H.E Lucky Aiyedatiwa. May God grant them the fortitude to bear the loss”, he said.

While praying for the deputy Governor for God’s wisdom, protection and guidance, Akingboye implores him to sustain his good name, prioritize the interest of the masses and ensure that he leaves no stone unturned in ensuring Ondo state is viable, strong, virile and a happiest place we are all proud of.
