Akingboye celebrates Aiyedatiwa’s 59th birthday, applauds payment of gratuity to retirees

Otunba Bamidele Akingboye (OBA) has congratulated His Excellency, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, over his 59th birthday anniversary.

Akingboye says Aiyedatiwa has every reasons to thank God for God’s guidance, protection and elevation, moreso the recent political, legal and spiritual hurdles and turbulent times he survived.

The Founder of OBA Foundation and Ondo 2020 PDP Governorship Aspirant charges Aiyedatiwa to see his current position as a call to responsibility requiring consistent and decisive actions capable of driving the state forward.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa must be bold enough to take decisive decisons that will have direct impact on Ondo state masses. He should realize that he is no more a Deputy Governor that needs permission or take instructions from his principal.

“He must therefore be assertive to at least prove that he is competent to lead Ondo state for the next one year, else the current slow pace and passive approach to governance makes the state looks like being operated on auto pilot as it has been since few months ago.”

The business tycoon and philanthropist commends the governor for his disposition towards retirees welfare, especially the recent disbursement of gratuity to pensioners.

While wishing the governor long life and prosperity in sound health, Akingboye demanded more attention and commitments towards the health and education sectors in the state to arrest the current emergencies confronting the sectors.
