Akeredolu was a voice against killer herdsmen, Olafeso mourns

Former National Vice Chairman (Southwest) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Eddy Olafeso, has mourned the passing of Ondo State governor, late Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

Olafeso in chat with Starnews Nigeria on Wednesday described the late Governor as a refined politician who’s words were his bond.

He commiserated with Ondo State, Akeredolu’s widow, Dr. Betty Akeredolu, and the entire family, praying God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.

He said, “I condole with Ondo State on the passing of late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu who stood as a colossus and a voice against the dreaded Killer herdsmen in the southwest states.

“The late governor was a good man, very honest, and sincere. He was a refined politician who’s words were his bond. In his lifetime, once he promised, considered it done.

“I sympathise with the grieving wife and children as I know there are no words that can ease their pains now. But I believe Aketi is now in a better place.

“May God grant the family and Ondo State the fortitude to bear the loss”, he added.
