Akeredolu loyalists mock Unity Forum as consensus crisis tears group apart

A supposed formidable group of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, the Unity Forum, which has been working to stop governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s reelection bid, is presently in crisis over the pronouncement of Chief Olusola Oke by the leader of the group, Ahlaji Ali Olanusi, as consensus candidate ahead of the party’s primaries.

Starnews NG reports that four governorship aspirants of the group, Senator Ajayi Boroffice, Jimi Odimayo, Segun Abraham, and Prince Dapo Adelegan, including Prof. Sola Ehindero, the group Secretary, denied the purported endorsement of Chief Oke in a separate statements , on Tuesday.

However, governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s loyalists have taken to Facebook to mock the unity forum for enmeshing in crisis, using all sorts of words like: ”Unity Forum ti bomb”, ”Unity Failure”, ”the house aint united again”, etc..
